I shouldn't be pretentious if my most listened artist for the past 5 years has been Kendrick Lamar, but I am, pretty much (or at least it seems like I'm trying to be). It's kinda hilarious that, at the moment of writing this, some of my top artists consist of aespa, NJZ, Kendrick, PinkPantheress and Ariana Grande. While at the same time, the displayed playlists in my profile include Cocteau Twins, Rosalía, Fleetwood Mac, -Black Country, New Road- or Nina Simone; so it's not pretentious material either.

I'm a full-album listener, I used to keep track of all the full works I listened to, but that list remains unedited since 2024 (I had about 140 albums noted); and I'm proud to say that I inspired some friends to listen to full works too! Or even keep a list themselves. The album I'm most fond of is Glory Days by Little Mix; however, some albums I consider my favourites right now are the ones that have impressed me the most, like Mezzanine from Massive Attack, El Mal Querer by Rosalía or -Good Kid, Maad City- by Kendrick.

As a wannabe creative, I've been producing music since I was 12, starting with remixing kpop songs for dance contests. The game changed when, at 17, my former music teacher gifted me a MIDI keyboard. I still can't compose nor produce for shit, but hey, at least I have the physical device for it! I really need to learn production bases. Nevertheless, I have a kinda basic understanding of music theory, 12 years learning music at school and 8 in choir must have done something. But that's why, as a consolation to myself and as a new perception of making art, I always keep in mind the quote by Giorgio Moroder: "Once you free your mind about a concept of harmony and of music being correct you can do whatever you want. So, nobody told me what to do and there was no preconception of what to do".
